Im excited to see Luke chambers. He seems to be the closest thing in the academy to the defensive profile we are looking for (left footed cb that can be an lb). Also, very excited to see Nyoni.
Crazy how little time Slot will get with the big guns though.
I’m most disappointed for Danns, I have to say. Felt like he had a big chance of playing a lot here with so many attackers away and I really think he has all the qualities to make an impact at first-team level. As you say, though, plenty of players there to get excited about!
